Rise of online coding platforms!

Pandemic has changed the way hiring is done today.
1. Imagine a sales person getting hired because of his negotiating and conviction skills based on a Clubhouse talk
2. Imagine a PM moving up the ladder for sharing his ideas with unknown people on platforms like WhatsApp or LinkedIn or Facebook or Instagram
3. Then why would our techies be left behind.
LeetCode HackerRank CodeChef CodeForces and many more are both assisting students and experienced professionals — learn and grow.

Going forward the way techies would be hired is going to completely change — given the number of online coding platforms out there.

I signed up on LeetCode to get a first hand view of customer experience :
1. Amazing interface — very easy to read questions and work on the solution.
2. Questions provided with hints in case you are stuck
3. IDE to run your code and verify the solution (reminded me of Infosys Dev²) and many more

Now let’s talk money:
If you have to go ahead and debug your solution , you have the option after you opt for a premium membership. More over they also provide solutions for the questions.
Pricing : $29.75 /Month or $127.20 /Year subscription
The sheer impressions on each of these websites is amazing
5.79M users on LeetCode,
51.44M on GeeksforGeeks,
7.03 M on HackerRank and many more [For more in comments section]

Community : They also have community forum where people could discuss, talk and exchange views on how to solve the problems and crack the interviews.

Silicon Valley has already endorsed this practise and connecting with people who are doing well in the competitions and then asking them to turn up for onsite Interviews.

Companies Perspective:
Well — Professionals are keen, thoroughly prepared for the questionnaire of highest standards.
Now the hiring teams at various companies must be prepared to change the way they run through their process to get the best.

I strongly advocate college going community, students and professionals to get onto these platforms and enhance their skills.

These platforms are here to stay, provide more learning, enhance the skillsets of professionals and of course make money.

Kudos to the Product Teams (if they have any) for this great idea realisation. Keep rocking!
