Hey folks 👋 As a mentor, I am having the incredible opportunity to meet, work and learn from both aspiring and seasoned product managers 🌟

Some of my key takeaways include:

1. Empowering: There is nothing more rewarding than empowering others and in the process yourselves. As a mentor, I have witnessed how individuals perceive product management as a whole and put in ideas on how to scale up🤘
2. Diverse Perspectives: Product management is a dynamic field that brings together professionals from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and skill sets. Embracing and encouraging diverse perspectives has been crucial in fostering innovative and creative problem-solving approaches🧑‍🌾
3. Continuous Learning: Coaching is a two-way street. While I share my knowledge and expertise, I have also learned so much from my mentees. The ever-changing tech landscape requires constant learning, and engaging with curious minds has kept me sharp and up-to-date📈
4. Adapting to Change: The tech industry moves at lightning speed, and being a mentor has taught me the importance of being agile and adaptable. Constant learning will only keep you in good shape✏️
5. Building a Supportive Community: of like-minded product professionals is invaluable. The exchange of ideas, resources, and best practices among mentees and colleagues fosters an environment of growth and collaboration👬
6. Small Wins: Celebrating successes, whether big or small, is crucial for maintaining motivation and building confidence. [4 Mentees went through tough rounds of Interviews and are at the final stage of processing] This is no metric to lean on as long as we are learning🏆
7. Empathy: Effective coaching involves active listening and empathizing with mentees’ challenges and aspirations. Understanding their unique circumstances helps tailor guidance and support to their specific needs 😌
