“Club House”— Democratising your voice!

My first 10 days of experience!
It’s an app that provides a platform to users wherein they can connect with like-minded people and share their thoughts (voice-only mode, podcast style)
I am going to break it down into 5 parts:
- UserXperience:
- They have a fantastic design in the first place — easy to navigate from one room to the other
- Easy to follow option
- Options to select your area of interests
- Moderators are boss
- Hallway management is not personalized
2. iOS vs Android:
- With the rollout of Android app the differentiation is prone to occur
- As of now tagging user’s social media handles are missing for android users
3. Content:
- Like any other social media channel — it has huge content and it is up to the user to choose his/her best rooms to check-in and learn or share knowledge
4. Sustainability:
- It has huge potential given its impact and yet to catch up with speed
- Business model can change based on the active users per week growth
- Can easily jump into advertising and B2C marketing elements
5. Usage:
- Android Beta is here — The number of users has grown exponentially
- Considered a niche operational model — invite-only mode to join was a privilege
- One must be intelligent to choose one’s interest and areas to extract value from the app
Overall a very good product for the market and given the pandemic tough times— it is helping a lot of people to refresh and learn
